We'll be departing Florence at 4:00 pm to get you back to the hotel around 5:30 pm to get ready for the Welcome Dinner! After the tour, if you would like to spend your free time visiting a museum, you'll need to purchase tickets in advance on the museum's website.
The most popular sites in Florence are the Duomo, a cathedral with a terracotta-tiled dome, The Galleria dell'Accademia where you can see Michelangelo’s “David” sculpture and The Uffizi Gallery where Botticelli’s “The Birth of Venus” and da Vinci’s “Annunciation" are on display. After the guided tour, you will have a few hours to explore on your own to take in the sights and have lunch.
On arrival, we will be divided into smaller groups for a guided tour. We will depart from the hotels (pickups at Pieve de Pitti & Il Selvino) in vans at 8:00 am for the 90 minute drive to Florence. To kickoff the wedding festivities, we are hosting a tour of Florence.
